Shidax is a shrine to all that is good and holy about Japan – Enka excepted – and it’s the nation’s biggest ‘karaoke box’ chain 🙂
The song featured above is an Enka track. Enka is sometimes described as Japanese Country and Western. Trust me, it’s as equally nasty. Jiji is 66 years old and it’s all he sings. However in spite of his age, and possibly because of his age, he belts the stuff out with a passion unmatched in my 10 years experience of Japanese karaoke!
